Job Purpose
To lead and manage overall channel operations and business performance, ensuring strategic growth, operational excellence and sustainable revenue generation to achieve financial stability and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Governance
• Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans aligned with Board direction.
• Drive overall business performance and financial sustainability.
• Present business performance, plans and progress updates to Finance Director and BOD.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance and company policies.
2. Department Oversight
Provide strategic leadership and effective oversight of the following departments to ensure strong cross-functional collaboration, high-quality content delivery, operational efficiency and achievement of revenue targets:
• Sales & Marketing Department
• Production (Shooting) Department
• Post-Production Department
•  External Relations
• Broadcasting Operations
3. Business & Revenue Management
• Lead revenue generation strategies including advertising, sponsorship, partnerships and content monetization.
• Negotiate and approve revenue-sharing agreements and key commercial contracts.
• Monitor financial performance, budget control and cost management.
• Identify new business opportunities and market expansion strategies.
4 . Content & Channel Strategy
• Define and guide overall content strategy to meet audience demand and business objectives.
• Ensure quality control and brand positioning of the channel.
• Approve major programming decisions and content direction.
5. External Relations & Industry Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media houses, production companies, publishing partners and industry stakeholders.
• Represent the company in strategic negotiations and industry forums.
6. Leadership & People Management
• Lead and manage 5 direct-report department heads.
• Oversee workforce planning and organizational development for 70+ employees.
• Foster a performance-driven, accountable and collaborative culture.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment across departments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Media, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred)

  • 8–12+ years of leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior management

  • Strong background in media/broadcasting and revenue management

  • Proven experience in strategic planning and business growth

  • Strong financial management and budget control skills

  • Experience negotiating commercial contracts and partnerships

  • Ability to lead multiple departments and manage 70+ employees

  • Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
