Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the group’s corporate governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Lead the risk management function by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all business units, including energy, power, trading, and real estate sectors.
  • Establish a risk appetite framework and develop risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with senior management.
  • Ensure effective internal controls and audit processes are in place to safeguard company assets and integrity.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments and ensure the group’s compliance with local and international standards.
  • Facilitate the formation and oversight of committees related to governance and risk.
  • Provide guidance and training to management and staff on governance, compliance, and risk-related issues.
  • Prepare and present reports on governance and risk metrics to the Board of Directors and executive management.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, integrity, and ethical business practices throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure alignment of governance and risk strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, ISO, COSO) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate governance, risk management, or compliance, preferably within energy, power, trading, or real estate sectors.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing governance frameworks and risk management systems.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments related to energy, trading, and real estate industries.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and develop strategic solutions.
