Duties and Responsibilities

  • Human Resource and Training Management
  • Handle related to recruitment, onboarding, retaining and termination of full-time, part-time and temporary employees.
  • Develop, implement and manage staff performance and professional development plan that aligns with YFL’s mission, vision and objectives and drives high performance.
  • Assist with the salary review process annually.
  • Nurture a positive working environment and define employee relations practices necessary to promote a high level of employee morale, engagement and motivation.
  • Create and maintain master HR files; ensure paperwork is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements; complete periodic reconciliation of benefits and payroll records and rectify issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist the HR assistant with Input, maintaining and validating personnel records on Companies’ integrated HR & Payroll systems ensuring payroll submission is accurate
  • Draft Offer letters/Contracts of employment, invitation letters for disciplinary, grievance and redundancy meetings using standard pro-forma’s
  • Administer HR policies and procedures and periodic updates to employee handbook.
  • Assist YFL staff with HR-related questions and issues and provide periodic communication on benefits and related information to employees.
  • Managing and responding to enquires on visa / labour / passport matters.
  • Implement and manage YFL’s recruitment processes; continuously work on developing the most effective and economical recruitment methods and ensure that they align with current and future needs for YFL’s human capital.
  • Take ownership of the Training plan and ensure this is delivered accordingly.
  • Monitors training programs and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date.
  • Oversees training programs that include web-based seminars, group sessions, training videos etc.
  • Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.

General Administration

  • Manage day-to-day office operations; oversee and coordinate overall office activities and provide administrative support to the executive leadership
  • Manage relationship with facilities management; coordinate office maintenance and support needs
  • Supervise the acquisition and maintenance of computer equipment and supplies in accordance with YFL’s purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints
  • Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
  • Organize and supervise other office activities (CSR, renovations, event planning etc.)

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor or Master degree with Admin & HR background with higher level education is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years Managerial Experience in Admin and HR field is mandatory
  • HR certifications and technical skills required
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and experience working with a corporate employment law
  • Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases
  • Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details
  • Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for numbers
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, written and fluent verbal in both English and Myanmar
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding phone and email etiquette
  • Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
  • Able to motivate the team and lead by example
