The role of IGCSE Educator is to educate students by planning and developing courses of study consistent with the Edexcel International General Certificate of  Secondary Education curriculum guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

- Preparing and delivering engaging lessons according to the curriculum provided.
- Assigning work such as homework, assignments, group work, etc., and assess or corrects the work of students.
- Monitoring student performance, and adjusting teaching strategies and techniques for improved content delivery.
- Setting up exams, assessments, and experiments in accordance with curriculum requirements and standards of the state and district.
- Communicating any student issues to academic teams and other relevant staff members.
- Creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
- Encouraging students to think independently and express ideas.
- Counselling students and guardians when problems arise.
- Updating of attendance and assessments result record in timely manner, not later than the set deadlines.
- Building rapport with students so that they feel comfortable and safe.

- Any graduate (Masters’ Degree Preferable)
- 3+ years of IGCSE teaching experience
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Patience, resilience, and cultural sensitivity.
- Expert in the Edexcel IGCSE Curriculum frameworks in detail, understand the scope sequence, and link to IGCSE specifications.
- Able to se student-centered teaching methods when delivering scientific concepts to students
