Teaching and Instruction
Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that cater to the learning needs of students in the assigned subject area.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the varying abilities and learning styles of students.

Curriculum Implementation and Development
Ensure that teaching is aligned with the curriculum standards (e.g., International Baccalaureate, Cambridge, or national curriculum) and that learning outcomes are met.
Contribute to the development and refinement of the school’s curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant, challenging, and inclusive.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary themes and promote a holistic approach to learning.
Assessment and Evaluation
Regularly assess and evaluate student progress through both formal and informal assessments (e.g., tests, assignments, projects, oral presentations).
Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work.
Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and provide differentiated support as needed.
Classroom Management and Discipline
Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote student engagement and minimize disruptions.
Address any behavioral issues promptly and in accordance with the school’s policies.
Student Support and Wellbeing
Support students in their academic and personal development, including social-emotional growth.
Provide additional support or enrichment to students who need it, such as tutoring or differentiated instruction.
Act as a mentor or advisor for students, helping them to set academic and personal goals.
Collaboration and Professional Development
Work collaboratively with other teachers, department heads, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
Participate in regular staff meetings, professional development workshops, and curriculum planning sessions.
Engage in ongoing professional learning to keep abreast of the latest educational trends, technologies, and pedagogical strategies.
Parental and Community Engagement
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
Attend parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and other community-building events.
Foster a positive relationship with the broader school community, including local and international stakeholders.

Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, or a relevant subject area.
Additional qualifications are often preferred.
Experience:
Previous teaching experience, ideally in an international school setting, is an advantage.
Familiarity with international curricula, especially IGCSE.
