Duties and Responsibilities of Data Center & Network Administration Unit Officer

• Responsible for managing daily operations of data centers, including server and storage systems, network infrastructure, and security components.
• Duties include hardware/software installation, configuration, and maintenance; troubleshooting with internal/external support; ensuring system uptime and data protection; managing backups and disaster recovery; and maintaining critical equipment like UPS and fire protection systems.
• Supports network performance, access controls, DNS, firewalls, routers, and VPNs.
• Maintains inventory, documentation, and ensures optimal network performance.
• Acts as a reliable team player and continuous learner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum two years working experience in related field and troubleshooting Palo Alto, F5, Fortinet Firewall, Cisco Switch, ASA firewall, SAN, Smart Rack and Smart Cabinet
• Experience working with relational Systems such as, Oracle Database Server, VMware  (vSphere, ESXi, NSX), Linux, Microsoft, Storage Platforms, Cisco, Backup Technologies and Data Center facilities
• Basic knowledge on configuration and troubleshooting skills on VPN tunnels, NAT, PAT, failover, backup and restore
• Installation, configuration, and management of common Cisco hardware and configurations
• Ability to perform moderately-complex network design and integration
• Hands-on experience of implementation, configuration and troubleshooting network monitoring tool, ADVPN, IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, with SD Wan technology
