  • Library Management and Development:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the library, ensuring a welcoming, well-organized, and efficient learning environment that reflects our values.
    • Maintain accurate library records and ensure smooth circulation of materials, fostering a sense of responsibility among students.
    • Implement efficient library management software ( ongoing process ) and stay updated on relevant technological advancements, exemplifying lifelong learning.
  • Engaging Library Instruction:
    • Collaborate with teachers across Primary to secondary levels to develop and deliver age-appropriate library lessons integrated into their respective curricula, promoting lifelong learning.
    • Design and deliver captivating library lessons covering diverse topics aligned with our values and SLOs, such as:
    • Adapt instruction to suit the needs of various age groups, demonstrating respect for individual learning styles.
  • School-Wide Service and Engagement:Organize and participate in school-wide events occasionally and activities promoting literacy, learning, and technology exploration, reflecting our values and contributing to our vision.Manage book fairs and other library-related events, fostering community engagement.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science or equivalent experience.
  • Valid teaching license or eligibility to obtain one in Myanmar.( Green Card )
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a school librarian
  • Proficiency in English and Burmese languages.
