Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Plan, manage, and optimize overall fleet operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation services.
Lead, coach, and supervise fleet supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers to achieve operational excellence.
Ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance of vehicles to maximize fleet availability and minimize downtime.
Prepare, monitor, and control fleet budgets, including fuel, maintenance, repairs, and other operating costs.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as vehicle utilization, fleet uptime, fuel efficiency, on-time delivery, and turnaround time.
Ensure compliance with transport regulations, road safety standards, company policies, and legal requirements.
Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and government authorities to ensure efficient fleet support and regulatory compliance.
Oversee the implementation and effective use of fleet management systems, GPS tracking, telematics, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement, cost optimization, and operational excellence across fleet operations.
Prepare operational reports and provide performance insights and recommendations to senior management.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
MBA or Diploma in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
Proven experience in fleet operations, transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Excellent analytical, budgeting, and cost-control abilities.
Good knowledge of transport regulations, fleet maintenance practices, and fleet management technologies.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in fleet management systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
Ability to work under pressure, solve operational challenges, and meet business objectives.
