Job Description for Elementary Subjects Teacher

1.   Meet with students and parents to discuss education related issues, and attend staff meetings.
2.   Establish a developmentally appropriate, positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that is conducive to learning.
3.   Prepare for assigned classes and provide lessons at designated times.
4.   Integrate suitable use of technology.
5.   Determine and support standards of classroom behavior.
6.   Plan and supervise assignments and activities for students, teaching assistants as required.
7.   Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
8.   Maintain a commitment to professional ethics, communicate effectively, and take responsibility for and participate in professional growth that results in enhanced student learning.
9.   Create a classroom environment that provides for student involvement in the learning process and enables each student to achieve learning objectives with current educational trends, teaching methodologies, and subject knowledge learned through professional development activities.
10.     Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities.
11.     Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and social-emotional development.
12.     Monitor and assess student progress and provide regular feedback and reports to parents.
13.     Identify and address the unique learning needs of individual students.
14.     Collaborate with other school staff, such as special education teachers or counselors, to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) or behavior plans for students with special needs.
15.     Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate school events and activities.
16.     Maintain detailed information in classroom portfolios.

-  Bachelor or Diploma in related field.

-  Have strong organizational skills and soft skills in minimum 1-3 years of working experiences in education sector.
