Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Teach Myanmar Language and Social Studies to Lower Primary students.
  • Teach both Myanmar and foreign/international students.
  • Prepare lesson plan, engaging, age-appropriate, and differentiated lessons.
  • Teach Myanmar culture, traditions, history, geography, and social values.
  • Use English effectively to support foreign students who have limited Myanmar language ability.
  • Assess student progress and maintain learning records.
  • Monitor the classroom and create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment at class time.
  • Collaborate with Form Teachers, TAs, and the Primary Team.
  • Participate in school events, cultural activities, and other school programmes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Myanmar, Social Studies, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification/certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of Primary teaching experience. (More preferred Lower Primary Level teaching experience.)
  • Good command of English and Myanmar.
  • Experience teaching foreign/international students is an advantage.
  • International school experience is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Passionate about teaching and working with young children.
