Job Description

  • Monitor network devices, links, and services using NMS tools.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, alerts, and tickets raised in the monitoring system.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for network, server, and service issues.
  • Escalate unresolved incidents to Level 2/3 teams according to escalation procedures.
  • Coordinate with field engineers, vendors, and service providers to resolve faults.
  • Record and update incident details accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and incident handling guidelines.
  • Generate and share periodic network health and incident reports.
  • Assist in planned maintenance activities by providing monitoring support.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams and stakeholders during incidents.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of IP networking, routing, and switching.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and common network protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 shift environment.
