On behalf of our Client, a logistics provider. We are looking for an: Operations Manager (Logistics) to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations, and planning and innovating on processes to achieve operational excellence
• Monitors and drives on time performance and utilization rates to be in line with targets
• Manages the management of the dispatch team
• Ensures compliance to quality service standards, procedures, rules and regulations
• Coordinates and ensures company assets are well maintained
• Analyzes and plans line haul network to support overall line haul performance and growth
• Develops, coordinates, and implements strategy to achieve performance and cost targets
• Hires, trains and leads the ground team
• Manages internal and external stakeholders including agent logistics providers to ensure above objectives are met
• Ensure team members and achievement towards KPIs and monitors their development progress
• Conducts regular audits and surprise visits to check on the current state of our facilities and people
• Carries out any ad hoc assignments given by management

Job Requirements

• University degree in any major subject plus MBA or related diploma
• At least (5) years’ experience in logistics operations in a management role
• Able to think strategically and to lead and customer service orientation
• Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
• Good communication, negotiation and leadership skills
• Excellent command of the English Language
• Be able to travel as business trips
