Job Description

- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Source raw materials, finished goods, equipment, spare parts, and services as required.
- Manage supplier quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and identify alternative sources where necessary.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, budgets, and approval procedures.
- Negotiate annual pricing, contracts, discounts, credit terms, and other commercial conditions.
- Logistics & Transportation
- Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Coordinate transportation, freight forwarding, delivery schedules, and shipment documentation.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to warehouses, branches, customers, or project sites.
- Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, warehouse teams, and internal departments to resolve delivery issues.

- Ensure proper handling of import/export documentation and customs requirements where applicable.
- Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of critical materials.
- Establish appropriate minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.
- Reduce excess, obsolete, damaged, and slow-moving inventory.
- Coordinate regular stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to improve inventory accuracy and utilization.
- Support demand forecasting and purchasing plans based on sales, production, and operational requirements.
- Cost Control & Reporting
- Develop and manage procurement and logistics budgets.
- Track purchasing, freight, transportation, and inventory-related costs.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement, supplier performance, inventory, logistics costs, and delivery performance.
- Analyze purchasing and logistics data to support management decision-making.
- Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and develop procurement, logistics, and related supply chain staff.
- Set performance targets and monitor team KPIs.
- Establish efficient processes, controls, and standard operating procedures.

- Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, including experience in procurement and logistics management.
- Proven experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, inventory, and transportation management.
- Experience managing and developing a team.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and commercial practices.
- Experience with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of import/export, customs, and international logistics is an advantage.
