Job Purpose

To develop, monitor, and control project schedules to ensure construction activities are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
Planning

  • Prepare baseline project schedules.
  • Develop detailed construction work programs.
  • Create resource-loaded schedules.
  • Prepare procurement schedules.
  • Develop recovery plans where necessary.

Monitoring

  • Track daily and weekly project progress.
  • Monitor project performance against schedule.
  • Identify delays and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare progress reports.

Reporting

  • Weekly Progress Reports
  • Monthly Progress Reports
  • S-Curve Analysis
  • Earned Value Analysis
  • Delay Analysis
  • KPI Reporting
  • Coordination
  • Coordinate with Project Managers.
  • Coordinate with Consultants.
  • Coordinate with Procurement Team.
  • Coordinate with Contractors.
  • Documentation
  • Maintain planning documentation.
  • Maintain project schedules.
  • Update construction programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in construction planning.

  • Primavera P6 (preferred)

  • Skills
  • Critical Path Method (CPM)
