Responsibilities:

• Check packaging process quality and sales quality of bottling, canning and kegging line to ensure products are as per standard.
• Inform PT and raise on-hold form for the finished products quality, packaging materials that are not complied with  quality standards/specialization.
• Analyze on-hold item/ process deviation/ compliant and report to PT.
• Involve in problem solving together with other teams where appropriate and follow up corrective and preventive actions to eliminate the recurrence of the root cause.
• Check incoming packaging materials and process aids according to requirement.
• Report the packaging process quality results/ deviation to PT and give feedback to respective department for results/ deviation.
• Calibrate and do maintenance of packaging QC equipment/ EBI test bottle/ GO and No GO bottle so as to ensure the execution of all quality control analysis are correct and reliable.
• Assist supplier of packaging materials (Particularly local) in improving their product quality (under supervision of PT) to confirm to required specification.
• Make sure in packaging material quality to avoid production breakdown. Assist trials process and follow up.
• Check chemical stock for packaging usage (eg. Bottle washer additive chemical, line lubrication, Keg line caustic/ acid preparation, indicator preparation).
• Involve in problem solving together with other teams where appropriate and follow up corrective and preventive action to eliminate the recurrence of the root cause.

Requirement

• Preferable degree in Bachelor of Science (Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Food Technology).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the laboratory analysis.
• Experience in the food manufacturing.          
• Computer skills in Micro soft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
• Teamwork and good operation skills.
