The incumbent will execute factory quality control, quality assurance, and quality improvement activities in alignment with company quality objectives and Global Quality standards. The role ensures consistent product quality through monitoring, inspection, and continuous improvement actions to support a reliable supply of quality products to the market. 

 

As Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Perform product quality measurements and monitor QIMS data during production to evaluate product quality and initiate improvement actions for Make Pack personnel (operators, mechanics, electricians). Maintain accurate inspection records, ensure quality parameters remain within R&D limits during shifts, verify BOM accuracy in QIMS before production, and coordinate troubleshooting of product or material issues, reporting to the Quality Engineer or Manager.
  • Execute QME calibration and maintenance, complaint analysis, quality improvement activities, and quality-related training as assigned by the Quality Engineer or Manager to support continuous product quality improvement. Perform regular IICI activities and respond to infestation incidents when required, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Analyze quality KPIs and performance indicators to identify deviations and take prompt corrective actions. Propose improvements and participate in factory-wide process improvement initiatives to reduce material waste and product rejects.
  • Conduct planned quality inspections for warehouse and Make Pack personnel to ensure compliance with R&D QMS requirements and local procedures. Record inspection results accurately and coordinate troubleshooting of product or material issues, reporting findings to the Quality Engineer or Manager.
  • Support energy-saving initiatives and maintain zero LTI and RI in the department by implementing communications, programs, and initiatives from Engineering and EHS. Contribute to waste reduction and participate in audits and programs such as ISO, FM Global, CP, and 5S3R led by local and global authorities.
  • Manage assigned local and global tasks or projects as requested by managers or cross-functional teams. Conduct quality inspections for warehouse or Make Pack personnel as required, ensure compliance with R&D QMS requirements and local procedures, record inspection results accurately, and coordinate troubleshooting of product or material issues.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Average proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Inspection within a factory environment, preferably in FMCG.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
