Position Purpose

The QA Engineer is responsible for performing both manual and automated testing on our applications, including our mobile App. He/ She will work closely within an Agile Team to test enhancements to existing products, new products, and to resolve associated technical issues. You will work closely with your team to write and implement test plans, create test cases, and perform regression testing to ensure our product offerings meet standards prior to product release dates.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Review and analyze system requirements specifications
• Evaluate product requirements according to specifications
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, requirement traceability and test reports.
• Perform functional testing, system testing and integration testing of new features Qualify all new features by testing on supported platforms and configurations.
• Collaborate daily with the development and product teams to ensure to meet quality acceptance criteria.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams and Work with the development team to correct bugs and errors
• Follow up flagged issues and improve the quality of our web, iOS, and android apps
• Create, maintain and execute automation framework/scripts for various applications/features using available test automation frameworks

Experiences, Functional Skills and Knowledge Areas

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of related experience preferred
• Experience with Cross platform testing, and responsive design testing.
• Experience with load/performance testing using JMeter and other similar tools.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience with Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Exploratory and Ad-Hoc testing
• Understands programming languages including Java, JavaScript, etc.
• Familiarity with bug reporting systems like Jira
• Experience in agile development and testing
• Must be able to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks
• Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
• Must be highly self-motivated and able to work independently
• Experience in QA methodology, frameworks and tools
