On behalf of our Client in the shipping and manning industry. We are looking for a: Recruitment & Replacement Manager to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures adequate resources are readily available related to Recruitment & Replacement activities
  • Ensures to support and align the set functional tasks in order to grow the business of the company
  • Ensures the implementation of the policies and procedures relating to recruitment and placement and monitors the relevant key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Monitors and promotes cost efficiency within the team
  • Possesses up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and international regulations impacting the shipping, manning and logistics function’s activities and ensures compliance with such requirements
  • Monitors the developments in the logistics market and initiates the respective adjustments of policies and procedures
  • Ensures an adequate reserve pool to meet current and expected future needs
  • Ensures that effective communication channels exist and that any issues are identified and resolved
  • Liaises and coordinates with Governmental and other Authorities as necessary
  • Ensure that all pool candidates maintain appropriate documents required for their rank

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree holding with the diploma in the other equivalent studies in the related field
  • An MBA or a Master’s Degree in Business Management or Human Resources Management, and diploma in maritime studies are preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar position
  • Minimum 5 ~ 7 years of seagoing service as a Senior Officer is also preferred
  • Excellent command of the English and Myanmar Language
  • Be able to be persevering in challenging situations
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, sociability skills, and multicultural skills
  • Good knowledge in maritime rules / regulations & shipping logistics
  • Sufficient understanding of local employment legislation and Myanmar Labor Law
  • Excellent in problem-solving, decision-making, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, effective, and efficient way
