Conduct building and property risk assessments for commercial and industrial risks.
Assess building construction, structural condition, materials, age, alterations, and general physical condition.
Identify potential building and structural risks, including those related to seismic and other natural catastrophe exposures.
Prepare risk assessment reports with clear findings and practical recommendations.
Conduct site inspections and verify relevant building and property information.
Support Underwriting, Claims, and Business Development teams on risk-related matters.
Support assessment of fire, electrical, mechanical, occupancy, storage, and other property risks when required.
Keep updated on relevant building standards, risk engineering practices, and insurance requirements.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2–3 years of relevant experience in construction/structural engineering, building assessment, property inspection, or related fields.
Insurance or risk engineering experience is an advantage.
Good knowledge of building construction and structural condition assessment.
Basic understanding of seismic risk and property risk assessment.
Knowledge of fire protection, electrical/mechanical systems, and other property risks is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to conduct site visits and work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Good command of English and Myanmar languages.
