Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company revenue goals and other objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong customer relationships and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales tactics.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate sales and business development teams to meet or exceed sales/business development targets.
  • Establish performance KPIs, provide regular training, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including lead generation, proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Collaborate with project management, and development teams and digital marketing team to align sales strategies with product capabilities.
  • Negotiate and close major contracts and agreements.
  • Represent the company industry events and conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on sales performance, sales forecasts, and market trends to the executive team.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of sales revenue targets.
  • Growth in new customer acquisition and retention rates.
  • Market share expansion.
  • Sales & Business Development team performance metrics.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related qualifications in Business or Management or IT
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Experience in the software sector.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
