Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

1. Financial Reporting: Sr. Accountant in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

2. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with departmental managers to develop annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

4. Month-end Close: Oversee the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.

5. Revenue Recognition: Ensure proper recognition of revenue in accordance with IFRS and company policies, including the management of deferred revenue and contract analysis.

6. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments, invoicing, and collections.

7. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

8. Audit Support: Assist in the coordination of external audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors as needed.

9. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the finance department, implementing best practices as appropriate.

10. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of (7)years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least (5)years in a supervisory or leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
