We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laravel Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development of Flymya Mobile App, Flymya Web App, and our internal tools.

Develop our products as well as internal systems using React Native and React JS frameworks. At Flymya, our product includes:

• Customer-facing travel platforms such as our website and mobile app, which allow users to make travel related bookings, e.g. flights, hotel, bus and many more.

• Internal tools and systems that support our Customer Support and Operations teams in delivering smooth and efficient travel services.

You will work both independently and collaboratively alongside fellow developers and Product Owners. And be responsible for making technical decisions within a team.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Work on Flymya Mobile App, Flymya Web App, and our internal tools (React Native, React JS & Next JS).

• Communicate/draft/develop software requirements in collaboration with the Product Owners and your fellow developers.

• Publish React Native app to Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Store.

• Build reusable components and libraries for future use.

• Identify design improvements and value engineering opportunities.

• Attend weekly technical reviews and project technical progress meetings.

• Work in both Work From Office (WFO) and Work From Home (WFH) environments.

What we’re looking for:

Technical Skill Requirements

• Graduate level experience in React Native and React JS, Next JS or the equivalent skill level.

• Familiar with version control (GIT) and Continuous Integration,

• Development tools such as NPM, NVM, NodeJS,

Mobile Development

• Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Store publishing,

• Understand and work React Native CLI,

Web Development

• React JS state management Redux and Hooks,

• Next JS – SSR/SSG, routing, and performance optimization

• HTML and CSS Preprocessors

• Cross-Browser Development and Responsive Design code.

Soft/Personal Skill Requirements

• Basic Conversational English

• Be a team player,

• Have a disciplined culture on WFO and WFH,

• Comfortable with multi-cultural environments and direct communication

• Passion for Tech

• Responsible person

Preferred Qualifications;

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering or related disciplines. Or demonstrable knowledge and experience obtained outside of formal education context. (e.g. personal projects etc)

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Familiarity with tools like Notion, Figma or Google Workspace
