• Source, evaluate, negotiate and purchase materials from local and overseas vendors
• Check if the vendors’ quotations are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project/item and prepare commercial comparison for user and management’s evaluation purpose
• Handle daily operational purchasing needs such as preparing, issuing, recording, and following up on Purchase Orders for both payment status and delivery status
• Try to resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors as instructed by Manager and other senior team members
• Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
• Report to Manager and other senior team members as necessary
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Diploma or Certificate in Procurement or Supply Chain (Preferred)
• Awareness of ISO 9001 and personal hygiene
• At least Four (4) years of experience in purchasing and strategic sourcing field.
• Experience in a fast paced, innovative industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers
• Resourceful, self-driven, proactive, and independent
• Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude
• Intermediate level in MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Good communication in English (Both Written and Verbal)
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work well under stress in a fast-paced environment
