Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

  • Maintaining appropriate queue to avoid hassle at the time of receipt & payment.
  • Cash receiving & payment including retail / commercial disbursal and deposit of cash for CASA customers
  • Process demand drafts and cheque deposits.
  •  Accept loan payments, processing cards cash advances etc.
  • Maintain an adequate cash drawer at all times in accordance with the Bank procedure; this includes withdrawing and depositing currency from the vault as necessary.
  • Vault key & main door key maintenance
  • Act as clearing house representative (If any)
  • Provides approval on other teller's transactions.
  • Handling all foreign currency transaction starting from foreign currency selling, endorsement, traveller’s cheque issuance and encashment to foreign remittance completion through TT and draft (If any)
  • Perform Ah Hoc duties assigned by superior.
  • Accept new account deposit - accept and verify information relating to the opening of new deposit relationships in accordance with procedures
  • Check all instruments for validity and acceptability and decline transaction that involves false or confusing information
  • Watch for stop payments, counterfeit or fraudulent checks and other suspicious transactions
  • Comply with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions
  • Ensure adherence to compliance & regulatory guidelines as defined by internal risk department, departmental processes or by Central Bank of Myanmar
  • Reconcile cash drawer by tally cash transactions; counting and packaging currency and coins
  • Turning in excess cash and mutilated currency to Branch Operations Manager.
  • Answer customer inquiries and refer customers to the proper service area for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line.
  • Cross-sell bank products by answering inquiries, informing customers of new services and product promotions, directing customers to a branch representative based on service requirement

Job Requirements

  • Degree in B.com or Any degree with relative deploma
  • Prefer cash handling experience in banking.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Proficiency in MS word,excel (Able to use Myanmar uni code font)
  • Must be honest and work with integrity.
  • Must be able to judge well and deliver the duties properly.
  • Able to work under the stressful conditions in the working atmosphere.
  • Customer Focus and adapted to the customers, answering the calls of the customers, intense work environments and so on.
  • Good Numeric Ability and have Eye for detail
  • Good Listening and communication skills
