RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design scenarios of use, product flows, application maps and other artifacts that articulate product design.
  • Rapidly generate and iterate a breadth of concepts across scales and mediums (e.g. both at the product and feature level).
  • Develop and working within the Yoma brand language (DLS) to deliver usability (and design of other artifacts across touchpoints).
  • Respectfully and creatively working with business and technology constraints to deliver on behalf of customer needs
  • Create prototypes and test concepts across mediums and touch-points (mobile, desktop, retail, call center, etc).
  • Conduct fieldwork with customers and collaborate with product owners, product managers, data analysts and go-to-market to identify value propositions and use cases, and to help shape resulting product requirements.
  • Prepare design outputs and assets for developers to suit our agile/SCRUM development process.
  • Generate ideas to improve existing customer journeys and express these in revised journey blueprints and scenarios that reflect customer and business requirements.

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 

ESSENTIAL

  • Passionate about human-centered design and committed to resolving customer pain points through good design
  • Able to clearly and effectively communicate and visualize design processes, ideas and solutions to stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of usability principles, and design systems
  • Good working knowledge of Sketch (Figma or Adobe XD will also be considered), interactive prototyping tools (Proto.io/Framer) and basic knowledge of front-end technology for smooth development handover
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Able to manage design projects independently
  • Good documentation and notetaking skills, and attention to detail
  • Understand customer touch points and digital product ecosystems (mobile, desktop, call center, retail)

DESIRABLE

  • Able to take early hypotheses into full research plan & synthesize findings
  • A solid grasp of human-centered design, planning and conducting and user research, user testing and rapid prototyping.

EDUCATION & SPECIAL TRAINING

  • Degree or qualifications in Business, IT, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design or similar

EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

  • 2+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, research, product design, management/development
  • Comfortable with production tools such as Sketch/Figma

DESIRABLE

  • Experience with visual/creative design a plus
  • Experience with data analysis a plus

LANGUAGE

  • Fluent in both Myanmar and English (written and spoken)
