Job Description

Job Purpose

Responsible for spearheading the development and execution of innovative sales strategies to drive business growth and market expansion.

This role involves leading the team to maximizing revenue, enhancing engagement while strategically managing operational expenses to enhance profitability and achieving organizational excellence.

Also responsible for order management, stock management and trade marketing planning and execution.

You will collaborate closely with many cross functional departments as well as senior management and stakeholders to ensure business efficiency and achieve qualitative outputs.

 

Develop and Implement GTM Strategies:

  • Lead end-to-end planning of Go-to-Market strategies and policies to achieve market penetration and revenue targets.
  • Lead the sales team in executing GTM plans, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, and competitive landscape to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Overall management of commission payouts and devise incentives schemes for the sales team and trade partners, driving motivation and performance.

Operational Expense Management:

  • Custodian of commission payouts and policy maker for the sales team & trade partners incentives schemes
  • Oversee and manage operational expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Implement best practices and processes to control expenses without compromising sales effectiveness.
  • Work with cross functions to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.

DMS

  • Heading sales automation improvements and DMS efficiency enhancements
  • Manage overall value chain of sales planning for SIMs and mobile top-up cards, optimizing sales strategies for maximum effectiveness.

Trade Marketing:

  • Design, develop, and execute integrated branding and trade marketing strategies to achieve defined business objectives with annual operating plan in view.
  • Strategic planning and Implementation of channel communication plans to ensure awareness of products & services across the channels nationwide and responsible for new products, segment activations, and channel events.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and finance teams to ensure integrated execution of GTM strategies.
  • Align sales initiatives with product launches and marketing campaigns to maximize impact.
  • Provide strategic input to product development based on market feedback and customer insights.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of GTM initiatives and operational efficiency.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and drive continuous business growth through strategic sales and distribution planning to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and planning sales training, sales bootcamp and knowledge sharing within the SG and where it is required.

Job Requirements

Education
•    Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Experience

•    Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership, GTM strategy development, and operational expense management.
•    Proven track record of driving sales growth and optimizing operational expenses in a dynamic business environment.
•    Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.
•    Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
•    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
•    Proficiency in using sales analytics tools such as Power BI.
