Job Description

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.

  • Develop and implement area sales plans aligned with company objectives.

  • Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions when needed.

  • Expand market coverage and identify new business opportunities.

  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and display standards in all outlets.

  • Conduct regular market visits to understand competitor activities and customer needs.

  • Manage and support distributors to ensure proper stock levels, timely orders, and effective route coverage.

  • Monitor distributor performance, credit, inventory, and delivery processes.

  • Conduct monthly distributor reviews and set targets.

  • Lead, train, and motivate the Area Sales Executives, Sales Representatives, and Merchandisers.

  • Conduct field coaching and capability development programs.

  • Ensure daily route plans and sales activities are properly executed.

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.

  • Prepare sales reports, competitor analysis, and market feedback.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and trade programs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3 years of management role.

  • Strong understanding of distribution management and route-to-market strategy.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.

  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, Sales System).

  • Must be willing to travel within the assigned area.
