Warehouse Operations

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure goods are handled, stored, and issued according to company procedures and quality standards.
  • Monitor loading and unloading of goods to ensure accuracy and prevent damage or loss.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement documentation.
  • Conduct regular stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report shortages or excess stock.
  • Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices are followed where applicable.

Team Supervision

  • Supervise warehouse staff, including storekeepers, forklift operators, and helpers.
  • Allocate daily tasks and monitor staff performance and productivity.
  • Provide on-the-job training and ensure compliance with warehouse procedures.
  • Support HR in attendance monitoring, overtime control, and discipline issues.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallets, racks).
  • Report and investigate accidents, damages, or safety incidents.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily and monthly warehouse reports (stock status, dispatch, damages, variances).
  • Maintain proper documentation such as GRN, delivery notes, stock cards, and transfer forms.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required warehouse records.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, agricultural, or industrial warehouse operations is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory systems, ERP/WMS is an advantage).
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and material handling procedures.
