After three rounds of judging by a total of 24 judges, the finalists in the 2018 Myanmar Employer Awards have been revealed. As a finalist, each company is recognized for demonstrating its outstanding achievements and fulfilling the criteria required for the category they have entered. With double the number of entries in this year’s awards, the judges assessed a total of 260 entries until five finalists in each category were finally decided upon.
Mr Matt De Luca, MD JobNet.com.mm, the MEA’s founding sponsor said, “To reach this stage and be named as a finalist is an exceptional accolade. Speaking with the judges at the conclusion of the final judging day it was evident that they were impressed by the exceptional caliber of the initiatives being undertaken, particularly by both local and international companies in Myanmar. Returning judges stated that the overall standard of entries was noticeably higher than 2017. The high standard of the entries is indicative of the quality of the human resource professionals that are working in Myanmar. I congratulate everyone who took the time to enter this year’s awards.”
Mr De Luca said, “We are extremely excited to find out who will be the ultimate Bronze, Silver, and Gold winners of every category at the 2018 Gala Awards event, which is being held on Friday 30th November at the Novotel Yangon Max.”
