Following a spectacular launch event on Thursday 5th July, the Myanmar Employer Awards are now open for entry. With over 55 major awards to be won, there are a lot of opportunities for both local and international companies to showcase their excellence in human resource management, and to be recognized as Myanmar’s Top Employers of Choice.

Speaking at the launch event, Professor Aung Tun Thet, who will once again be the MEA's Head Judge, stressed the importance of effective human resource management in building a strong workforce to support Myanmar's future economic growth. He urged more local businesses, as well as small to medium enterprises, to enter this year's awards.

Distinguished guests at the launch event included H.E Zaw Aye Maung, Minister Labour Affairs, Immigration, Man Power, Rakhine National Affairs, and Professor Aung Tun Thet, former Economic Advisor to the President of Myanmar. 

As the founding sponsors of the Myanmar Employer Awards, JobNet's CEO, Justin Sway and Managing Director Matt De Luca also welcomed over 300 leaders of Myanmar's business community, and 38 representatives from the nation's most prominent media organisations.
