Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein received Myanmar Employer Awards committee at 5:00 Pm on June 19 at Yangon Region Government office. During the meeting, matters relating to the vision and mission of the Myanmar Employer Awards were discussed.

During his address to the MEA, he welcomed the MEA’s Program, saying that it will strongly support the development of the human resources and private sector.

“The MEA will bring good things for our country. Strong competition is accelerating development and change. The MEA will support the development of employment and private sector”.

Representatives from JobNet.com.mm, the MEA’s supporting partner, included Justin Sway CEO, and Matt De Luca Managing Director, who said that the Myanmar Employer Awards (MEA) 2018 will held on Friday 30 November. This year’s awards will build on the MEA’s mission, to support and encourage excellence in human resource management in Myanmar.

Matt said “The Myanmar Employer Awards serve to support and recognize employers for their outstanding achievements and consistent efforts in effective HR best practices, including work-place culture and environment”.

He said again that, growing competition among companies to attract and retain employees meant that it is especially important to develop the human resources management behavior throughout the country.

The inaugural Myanmar Employer Awards in 2017 attracted 120 competitor companies, and Matt said this year they are expecting around 200 companies to participate.

ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ လူ႔စြမ္းအား အရင္းအျမစ္ စီမံခန္႔ခြဲမႈ ဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးေရးႏွင့္ ပုဂၢလိက က႑ ဖြံၿဖိဳးေရးအတြက္ အေထာက္အကူ မ်ားစြာ ေပးႏိုင္သည့္ ျမန္မာ့လုပ္ငန္းရွင္မ်ား ဆုေပးပြဲကဲ့သုိ႔ အစီအစဥ္မ်ား ေပၚေပါက္လာျခင္းကုိ  ႀကိဳဆိုေၾကာင္း ရန္ကုန္တိုင္းေဒသႀကီး ဝန္ႀကီးခ်ဳပ္ ဦးၿဖိဳးမင္းသိန္းက ေျပာၾကားခဲ့သည္။

“က်ေနာ္တို႔ ႏိုင္ငံအတြင္းမွာ ဒီလိုအစီအစဥ္မ်ဳိး ရွိတာ ေကာင္းပါတယ္။ ယွဥ္ၿပိဳင္လိုစိတ္ရွိတာနဲ႔ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ ျပဳျပင္ေျပာင္းလဲမႈက ပုိမိုအရွိန္ရလာမယ္။ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံရဲ႕ အလုပ္ရွင္က႑ ဖြံၿဖိဳးေရးနဲ႔ ပုဂၢလိက က႑ ဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးေရး အတြက္ အမ်ားႀကီး အေထာက္အကူျပဳပါတယ္”ဟု ဝန္ႀကီးခ်ဳပ္က ေျပာသည္။
