MYANMAR EMPLOYER AWARDS 2017 ANNOUNCE THE PEOPLES’ CHOICE AWARD NOW OPEN FOR VOTING

MYANMAR’S BEST LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES SHOWCASE THEIR EMPLOYER EXCELLENCE IN FIRST ANNUAL COMPETITION

23 OCTOBER, 2017 - YANGON, MYANMAR: JobNet is proud to announce that the first annual Myanmar Employer Awards 2017 features a Peoples’ Choice Award that enables anyone to vote for the best local and international firms they would most want to work for. Many of Myanmar’s most respected companies are competing across several awards categories to establish their leadership in creating the best places to work in Myanmar. The survey launched today at http://bit.ly/2gEBPK7. Only one vote is allowed per email address.

“The Peoples’ Choice Award is completely separate from the other judging categories, because anyone can vote for their favourite companies,” said Matt De Luca, Managing Director of JobNet.com.mm. He went on to say, “All international and local firms who participated in the 2017 Myanmar Employer Awards are eligible for judging regardless of whether they were shortlisted for awards or not. It is an even playing field where all local companies compete independently from international firms. The people of Myanmar -- its business professionals -- are especially encouraged to participate in order to independently showcase what the labour market thinks of the participating companies. 50% of the voting will come from current employee surveys and the other 50% from votes on the survey. These votes will be tabulated and verified by Deloitte, the Myanmar Employer Awards Verifying Partner.”
