Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

• To look for and attain new potential clients based on market opportunities, and present and attract them to use the virtues of the company and its value added services

• To make clients aware of the potential of Myanmar Market & provide them all useful insights about the market

• To collect information on the client’s business intentions and make sure that all clients’ are in align with the corporate guidelines.

• To participate in the negotiations with potential clients to maximize the commercial value of the business agreements and to minimize the risks

• To develop the tailored-made business proposal based on the corporate guidelines (financial, compliance, etc.)

• To effectively lead the whole process of getting the client on board from discussion to commercialization, to liaise with different stakeholders & give timely inputs to clients.

• To conduct regular analysis and reviews to track the market situations, trends, feasibility studies and provide useful information to the VP and respective Business Managers

• To develop business strategies to maximize opportunities and minimize threats based on analysis

• To develop the business growth plan and keep all BD database and information up to date

• To conduct business reviews with client on a regular basis

• To be a single point of contact for clients within the organization

• To ensure that DKSH follows the contractual obligation of clients

Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead the BD and Client Management teams with full set of responsibilities on delivering Key Objectives as set forth by the management.

• To coach the executives for developing them to become an effective negotiator & deal clincher.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stake holders both Internal (from DKSH Side) as well as external

• Lead the whole process of the business integration and/ or transition of new clients into DKSH

Job Requirements

• M.B.B.S or B.Pharm . MBA degree will be an added advantage

• Should have worked in reputed Pharmaceutical Company (preferably Top 10 Internationally or in Myanmar) with around 10 years of total work experience out of which at least 3-5 years of Managerial experience is required

• Strong understanding of Healthcare Industry, major players, categories, products

• Experience in preparing business cases, including financials

• Experience in preparing business reviews

• Optional: Experience in contract review and negotiation

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with different levels of management

• Excellent client orientation

• Strong analytical capabilities and strategic thinking

• Strong written & spoken English communication skills

• Presentation and Negotiation skills

• Perseverance and problem-solving skill for mutual benefits
