Job Summary:
1. Responsible in achieving the Brand and Hotel positioning objectives locally and internationally through Public Relations and Promotion activities.
2. Assists the Director of Sales & Marketing in the development of Public Relations and Promotion plans and in budget preparation.
3. Represents and promotes the hotel by maintaining constant contact with the media, local community, the customer base and corporate offices.
4. Supervises the Public Relations department to ensure all daily tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
5. To protect the correct image and positioning of the hotel and Brand by meeting corporate standards in all collateral and advertising material.
6. To develop and follow through in public relations activities and be responsible for the production of promotional materials, press kits and arrange press and media coverage.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Communicates and submits appropriate material to all marketing channels and organizations that assists in promoting the hotel to ensure they are well equipped to sell the property.
2. Co-ordinates various media and marketing activities and events.
3. Co-ordinates press releases as required of hotel events and new staff.
4. Liaises with advertising and public relation agencies.
5. Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market place.
6. Oversees and coordinates hotel photography when required
7. Maintains the image of the Hotel and the Brand.
8. Monitors and ensures complete awareness of competitor activities and use information when developing strategies.
9. Plans and coordinates all sponsorship activities
10. Takes part in the preparation and planning of department / unit / outlet goals and objectives.
11. Participates in the preparation of strategic plans.
12. Accesses sales and marketing data.
13. Takes ownership by developing, executing and following up on the hotel's public relations and advertising schedules.
14. Organizes promotional events, including invitations to the media, local VIP's, corporate accounts, clients, travel agents and other related guests.
15. Works effectively in a team.
16. Participates in the hotel organized events.

Job Requirements

Job Knowledge / Skill:
1. Leadership skills and knowledge of all tasks within the area of responsibility.
2. Knowledge and experience in Internet and other major computer programs.
3. Ability to use Sales and Front Office computer systems.
4. Knowledge in e-commerce, mass communication, creative graphic design, innovative copy writing, and editing.
5. Knowledge of local & international market.
Education:

University Graduate

Experience:

Min. 5 year related experience in Supervisor and Managerial position with international chain hotels.
