Primary Purpose:

Your main responsibility will focus on quality, support delivery, efficiency and compliance at assigned Service Provider.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to...

• Walk through production lines daily together with Service Provider (SP) Quality team

a. Actively look for any potential or actual issues that effects to product quality, whether aesthetic, functionality, durability and design expectation.

b. Pay particular attention to product being packed and in the event of Tapestry standard not being met then ensure immediate / appropriate action. This may be a running process change for continuous improvement for a minor issue. It may mean halting a particular process which is not under control & showing up as inconsistencies. Or in the event of major or critical issues it may require the SP to halt the line repair or rework product and conduct 100% re inspection.

c. Stay there until the SP has proved sustainable resolution.

• Regular Meetings
a. Meet on a daily basic with SP counterpart & SP QA and set the priorities for the day.

• Review Top Of Line (TOL), Production trial and Participate
a. Reject if not up to ensure quality and design intent are met and our company standard. Do not allow shipment.
b. Compare to PA samples and sample comments
c. Attend pilot production trial to ensure correctly conducted and that the result is good enough to allow production to start.

• Changes in manufacturing and be front end of raw material quality issues
a) In the event of raw material quality issues, get involved, included our company Material Management team and make the call to use or not (ensure non-conformance reports are made)
b) Make sure all manufacturing process change, product change being implement in production.

The accomplished individual will possess...
• Degree holder with at least 5-8 years working experience in sourcing handbags, accessories, footwear, or related industry
• Understand Lean manufacturing
• Ability to work independently, Bag technical expertise , coordinate with teams
• Strong communication skills, spoken & written in English.
