Marathon Myanmar is growing fast, and we’re hiring Accountants (Mid-Senior, Senior) across our expanding business sectors (Retail, Wholesale, Express, Logistics & Transport, Trading). You’ll have the opportunity to join the sector that fits your experience or explore a new area you want to learn and grow in.

  • Handle daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records

  • Manage AP/AR, bank transactions, and cash reconciliation

  • Assist in monthly closing, ledger reconciliation, and financial reports

  • Support stock, cost, and expense tracking

  • Ensure documentation, compliance, and proper approval workflow

  • Coordinate with internal teams for data accuracy (Admin, HR, Sales, Warehouse)

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field

  • LCCI Level II/III preferred

  • Experience required based on level

  • Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and reconciliations

  • Basic tax knowledge (CT, WHT, Commercial Tax)

  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; accounting software experience is a plus

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a responsible mindset

  • Ability to work under deadlines and collaborate with cross-functional teams
