JOB SUMMARY:
Asst. HSE Manager is to manage all tasks related to the health, safety and environmental management system of the site he is in charge of.
Ensure proper check on working conditions of the project site and ensure compliance with occupational safety and sign off approval to permit-to-work
Core Responsibilities -
• To inspect each stage of workmanship and give necessary instructions to ensure the process performance and conformity of the organization’s health, safety and environmental standards
• Inspect proper housekeeping and personal safety at workplace regularly to prevent occupational accident
• Prepare fire control plan and train the staffs to know how to respond emergency situation
• Attend regular occupational health and safety meeting organized by the relevant authority
• Raise safety, health and hygiene awareness of all workers by extensive training and awareness session
• Assist Group QHSE Department in all tasks relating to Environmental Management
• Monitor and measure waste water quality and report the test results to Group QHSE Department
• Monitor and check the waste disposal practice to prevent environmental pollution
• Timely report Non-conformity/Anomaly report to concerned department for corrective/preventive action and copy sent to QHSE Department
• Investigate accidents for recommending preventive safety measures and developing safety programs.
• Organize and provide fire/emergency drill at regular interval. Drill/Testing Records are maintained
• Assist QHSE Director in dealing with client complaints or community grievance in relation to health, safety, and environmental issues and resolve disputes
