Assist Head of Business Development in planning and executing sales strategies and daily operations. Supervise and support Sales Officers to ensure smooth team performance, while achieving individual sales targets. Provide coaching, monitor results, and help drive mortgage business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Supports Head of Business Development in executing the Mortgage BU plans for structuring highly relevant and innovative financial solutions to deepen account adoption and to reach more customers at lower cost, in line with the overall bank’s strategy of driving nation-wide financial inclusion
  • Analyses complex business and operational issues and distils new solutions which are consistent with the overall strategy of the bank
  • Directs and oversees the team's daily business and operational activities to drive value creation, ensure achievement of NPS and productivity targets, and promote alignment with Banking Best Practices
  • Achieve given monthly individual sales targets by managing daily operation activities collaborating with internal teams such as processing team, branches, credit risk team and credit admin teams.
  • Adapts current processes and systems, and implements new approaches to meet current as well as emerging business trends
  • Reviews subordinate(s) work, provides on-going feedback and guidance, and employs problem solving methods and techniques to resolve issues/problems effectively.
  • Develops and administers the team's work schedules, and establishes, monitors and reviews performance requirements; may be responsible for budgetary planning and analysis, and for initiating corrective actions
  • Develops and maintains understanding of products/processes and advises management, businesses and relevant third parties.
  • Communicates regularly with subordinate managers, clients, and/or peers, Assistant Function Heads); may be responsible for spearheading cooperative efforts and leading teams for specific projects, when required

Job Requirements

  • University graduate with relevant disciplines;
  • 5 years of work and people management experience
  • Possesses wide-ranging industry experience, uses professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
  • Independently manage a team, product or processes within a BU
