  • Assess the needs of students and use detailed knowledge and skills to support students’ learning.
  • Establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom.
  • Support students consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs.
  • Encourage students to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage all students in activities.
  • Promote independence and employ strategies to recognise and reward achievement of self-reliance.
  • Provide feedback to students in relation to progress and achievement in lessons.
  • Help organise and manage an appropriate learning environment and resources.
  • Provide objective and accurate feedback and reports as required on student chievement, progress and other matters, ensuring the availability of appropriate evidence.

Job Requirements

  • Strong English language skills, especially in reading and speaking.
  • A passion for working with children.
  • Confidence to work closely with both international and local staff.
  • Ability to ask questions and clarify instructions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently when needed.
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable.
