Job Description (JD):

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join Myanmar Distribution Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting market surveys, maintaining client relationships, and supporting sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Survey & Research:

  • Conduct regular field visits to gather real-time market insights and customer feedback.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and consumer behavior.

Data Collection & Analysis:

  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from surveys, retailers, and internal sources.
  • Analyze sales trends, performance reports, and market opportunities.
  • Present actionable insights and reports to the management.

Project Launch Execution:

  • Support and execute product launch initiatives across targeted markets.
  • Coordinate with sales, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure successful rollout.
  • Monitor the performance of new launches and provide post-launch evaluations.

New Product & Business Opportunity Identification:

  • Identify emerging product trends and new potential items in local markets.
  • Evaluate feasibility, market demand, and competitive landscape.
  • Propose and develop strategies for introducing potential products into the company’s portfolio.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams to align business development goals with overall company strategy.
  • Provide training and product knowledge support to sales teams when necessary.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements (JR):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or related fields is preferred.
  • Fluent in English – must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of local market structure, consumer trends, and product categories.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Must possess a valid driving license.
