Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

1. Business Development & Growth

  • Identify new construction projects (commercial, residential, industrial, infrastructure).
  • Develop business opportunities with developers, investors, government bodies, and private clients.
  • Study tenders, RFQs, and project opportunities and prepare business feasibility summaries.
  • Coordinate with technical, QS, and project teams to support proposals and bids.

 

2. Chairman Support & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports for the Chairman.
  • Present project pipelines, opportunity status, risks, and revenue forecasts.
  • Act as the main coordination point between the Chairman and internal teams.
  • Follow up on Chairman’s instructions and ensure execution.

 

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors.
  • Attend meetings, negotiations, and site visits when required.
  • Support contract discussions and commercial negotiations (non-legal).

 

4. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor construction market trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights on new sectors, locations, and partnership opportunities.
  • Support long-term expansion planning for the construction business.

 

5. Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with: Project Management Team, Quantity Surveyors, Engineering & Technical Teams, Finance & Admin
  • Ensure smooth flow of information for proposals and approvals.
  • Key Deliverables: Project opportunity pipeline report, Tender & proposal summary reports, Chairman briefing notes, Business feasibility & ROI analysis (basic level), Client meeting minutes & follow-up actions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 3–7 years’ experience in: Construction business development, sales, or project coordination
  • Strong understanding of: Construction project lifecycle, Tendering & proposal processes
  • Strong reporting & presentation skills, Commercial and business mindset, Excellent communication (English required)
  • Ability to work directly with senior leadership
  • High confidentiality and professionalism
  • Good coordination and follow-up skills
