Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Identify and evaluate potential new products and suppliers for assigned categories.
  • Conduct supplier research, gather quotations, and assess product quality, pricing, and lead times.
  • Collect and analyze sales, inventory, and market data to identify opportunities for category growth.
  • Support the Category Manager in managing product assortments, pricing strategies, and product lifecycle planning.
  • Monitor competitor products, pricing, and promotional activities to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Assist in preparing category performance reports, product sourcing proposals, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective product acquisition.
  • Coordinate with marketing to develop product launch and promotion plans for new and existing items.
  • Create, update, and maintain product knowledge training materials (presentations, guides, fact sheets) for internal teams and sales staff.
  • Conduct internal product knowledge training sessions to enhance awareness of product features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date category, supplier, and product databases.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in product sourcing, procurement, or category management is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
