We are looking for a detail-oriented and ethically-driven Chief Accountant to ensure the financial integrity and fiscal health of our operations. This role serves as the primary safeguard for company assets through rigorous internal controls and financial transparency.
Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight: Maintain accurate and comprehensive sets of accounts, ensuring all financial transactions comply with international accounting standards.
• Payroll & Disbursement Audit: Independently verify and audit all payroll calculations and profit-sharing distributions prior to final processing.
• Internal Controls: Implement and monitor strict internal auditing processes to mitigate financial leakage and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Reporting: Coordinate with operational departments while providing direct financial reporting and fund management insights to the Leadership Team.

• A degree, diploma, or recognized qualification in Accounting or Finance. LCCI Level III or another relevant professional qualification is preferred.
• At least five years of accounting or finance experience, including experience supervising a team.
• Good understanding of branch accounting, daily cash control, and stock reconciliation in a retail business.
• Strong Excel skills. Experience with accounting software or Odoo is preferred.
• Ability to review records carefully, identify discrepancies, and resolve their causes.
• Ability to lead a team and work effectively with the Operation and Purchasing departments.
