Job Description
• Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role.
• Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations in Manufacturing.
• Responsible for day to day raw material, work in progress and finished goods costing, wastage and manufacturing accounting.
• Perform a full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
• Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
• Responsible for timely monthly financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting for submission to Head of Department .
• Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries.
• Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations, management team and department head in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis. Issue weekly cost reports for review and approval.
• Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the setup.
• Support Finance and Account Manager in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements.
• Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns.
• Work consultation with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives.
• Conduct all necessary training to keep the team’s skill and knowledge up to date Maintain and comply with all Myanmar tax regulations.
• Coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Review and approve raw material inventory transactions in the accounting system.
• Track raw material usage based on production formulas (BOM – Bill of Materials).
• Identify unusual or excess material usage and report to production management.
• Monitor material wastage, scrap, and losses.
• Prepare raw material inventory reports for management.
