Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Prepare, analyze, and report accurate financial statements in accordance with Myanmar Financial Reporting Standards and local regulations.
Maintain and manage all accounting records, ledgers, and financial documents.
Ensure compliance with Myanmar tax laws, VAT, Customs, and other statutory obligations.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal audit processes.
Supervise and lead the accounting team, providing guidance and training.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure timely submission of tax returns and statutory filings.
Keep up to date with changes in Myanmar financial regulations and accounting standards.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or ACCA qualification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of Myanmar accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or local systems).
Good understanding of local currency management and foreign exchange regulations.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
