The Design and Curriculum Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing training programs and curriculum for employees within the banking organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify training needs, designing instructional materials, and ensuring the effectiveness of training initiatives.

  • Training Needs Analysis: Conduct needs assessments in collaboration with BUs and Department heads to identify skill gaps and training requirements across different roles within the banking organization.
  • Curriculum Development: Design comprehensive training programs and curriculum to address identified needs, incorporating industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
  • Instructional Design: Develop engaging and effective instructional materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and other multimedia resources, to facilitate learning and development.
  • Content Creation: Create and curate content for training programs, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with learning objectives and organizational goals.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that training materials and programs comply with regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry guidelines, maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.
  • Professional Development: Stay abreast of advancements in instructional design, adult learning principles, and technology-enabled learning solutions, continuously enhancing knowledge and skills in the field of training and development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree holder (Master degree is plus)
  • Certified trainer is more preferable
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, services, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Attention to details
  • Proficient in MS Office and G-suite
  • Required skill sets 
    • Adult training skill
    • Problem-solving & decision-making skills
    • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
    • Strong organizational skill
    • Critical & Creative thinking skills
    • Time management skill
    • Analytical mindset, with the ability to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • At least 5 years of experience in adult training (corporate level training experience is plus)
  • Working in very dynamic environment
  • Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Hand-on experience in training material creation from sketch
