Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

Design & Drafting Support:
- Prepare and update 2D engineering drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Review site design modifications and adjust technical drawings accordingly.
- Assist senior engineers in coordinating electrical, mechanical, or structural drawing packages.
Quantity Surveying (QS) & Estimation:
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material breakdown sheets.
- Assist in obtaining and evaluating supplier/subcontractor quotations.
- Assist in checking subcontractor progress claims and variation orders (VOs).
Document Control & Office Engineering:
- Organize, track, and maintain soft and hard copies of drawing logs, BOQs, RFIs, and technical submission files.
- Prepare routine weekly/monthly project status and material usage reports.
- Coordinate between site teams, procurement, and management for engineering documentation.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related engineering field).
Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of MEP works with a main contractor, engineering firm, or developer. (Fresh graduates with strong AutoCAD & Excel skills may be considered).
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in 2D AutoCAD for drafting and layout modifications.
- Strong MEP system literacy, proficiency in MS Excel (for BOQ calculation), and procurement documentation.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and project specifications.
Personal & General Attributes:
- High attention to detail and accurate calculation skills.
- Strong organizational and document management capabilities.
- Good communication skills in Burmese (English reading/writing ability for technical documents is a plus).
- Reliable, fast learner, and able to work in a team environment.
