Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Prepare detailed Quantity Take-off, BOQ and Cost Estimation for residential construction and interior decoration projects.
  • Calculate quantities from structural drawings, including concrete volume, reinforcement steel, formwork and other structural materials.
  • Prepare and calculate quotations for construction and interior decoration projects based on BOQ and cost estimates.
  • Prepare material and labour cost estimates.
  • Prepare BOQ and estimates for architectural, finishing and interior fit-out works.
  • Check actual site quantities and compare with BOQ quantities.
  • Prepare variation orders and additional work quotations.
  • Assist in material procurement by preparing material quantity requirements.
  • Monitor project costs and assist with budget control.
  • Collect and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations.
  • Coordinate with Architect, Engineer, Site Team, Interior Designer and Procurement Team.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering. Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • 3 years or more relevant experience in construction and/or interior fit-out projects.
  • Good knowledge of construction materials, labour rates and subcontractor rates.
  • Experience in residential construction and interior decoration is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ, Quantity Take-off and Cost Estimation.
  •  Good Excel skills are required.
  • AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to read architectural, structural and interior drawings.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
