  • Select appropriate texts, resources, and materials to support the curriculum.

  • Facilitate discussions, activities, and projects to engage students in the learning process.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and projects.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance.
  • Administer and grade assessments to measure students' understanding.

  • Manage student behavior and enforce classroom rules.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or licensure (requirements may vary by location).

  • Classroom management abilities.
  • Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into the curriculum.
  • Passion for literature and language.
