Position Summary

The Facility & Process Engineer is responsible for the engineering design, optimization, and operational support of onshore oil and gas surface production facilities.

1. Surface Facility Engineering

• Plan, design, and implement projects for oil, gas, and produced water surface production facilities.
• Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
• Ensure facility designs meet operational requirements and industry standards.

2. Project Execution

• Lead and supervise the construction, installation, commissioning, and modification of surface production facilities.
• Prepare engineering specifications, technical drawings, and cost estimates for facility development projects.

3. Process Optimization

• Monitor facility performance and identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and production throughput.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues affecting production reliability.

4. Equipment Performance & Integrity

• Provide technical support for mechanical equipment such as:
  • separators
  • pumps
  • storage tanks
  • heat exchangers
  • valves and piping systems
• Support facility integrity and reliability management.

5. Produced Water Management

• Oversee produced water handling systems, including treatment, reinjection, and disposal.
• Ensure compliance with operational and environmental standards.

• Ensure surface facilities support field production targets and reservoir management strategy

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Petroleum Engineering

Experience

• 5–10 years’ experience in oil & gas surface facilities engineering, production operations, or facility project management.
• Experience in onshore oilfield operations preferred.
